Raspberries / Maliny

Raspberries weren't in my plans at all. But somehow, when I looked at them long enough, clever idea came to my mind :)
I have this big piece of unfinished red knitting. Yes, it is over 20 years old, done by me (always wanted to have a red dress) and rather thin and delicate (to thin for a dress - hence unfinished). I decided it is perfect for a bowl of raspberries...
Well, I'm not sure... It's good as a bowl but I'm not sure about the raspberry part :)
No nie wiem...
It is reversible and has a good shape, but the raspberries aren't executed very well (to say the least). They aren't as sweet as the ones from my last year's Market...
Oh well, will think about them some more.
And if you think it's time for another artist from etsy, you are wrong. The artist, whose work I want to show to you today, isn't on etsy. But he knows how to make raspberries, blackberries and many more yummy things even in much harder medium - in wood.
No nic, jeszcze o nich pomyślę.
This wood carving is done by Peter Murphy, contemporary English artist, whose works we are able to admire thanks to his wife's, Rosemary (also an artist), blog - Share my garden. I'm in constant awe of this talented couple. But you have to check it yourself :)
Ta płaskorzeźba jest autorstwa Petera Murphy, współczesnego angielskiego artysty, którego prace możemy podziwiać, dzięki blogowi jego żony, Rosemary (też artystki) - Share my garden. Jestem pod nieustającym wrażeniem tej utalentowanej pary. Ale lepiej idźcie i sprawdźcie sami :)
