Yes, it is another hen, but it is the size of pictures which matters in this post :)
Tak, to jest kolejna kura, ale w tym poście chodzi o rozmiar zdjęć :)
My Good Wife is doing well. Her pot has handles and she has a towel. So the only thing missing was... a bowl :)
and coasters, of course :)
Call me dumb but it was just while playing with the bowl for the pictures...
when I realised that in fact I made two bowls:
The former ones where made with the same fabrics inside and outside, but why didn't I think about it earlier??? The coasters are reversible too:
So now there are two sets:
And everything with the heart, of course.
I thought that you may want to see some bowls in use. The one above is my friend's bowl with glass balls. It is with her lucky pig :)
And this one is for eggs:
I have a lot of fun with those bowls.
I know they are a bit silly but I don't care. I have some prototypes (too shy to show off) at home and they are in permanent use :)
My Good Wife survived the washing and now is in handwork process.

But no, it's not her lover's heart on their table. It is... my coaster :)

And now have to wash it to see how all the vintage fabrics behave :)
Mostly sewing :)
As you can see I'm in the quilting process.

As for the hand sewing, I remember, of course, that I have some old projects to finish. And I keep working on them...
It is a Contemporary Medieval Miniature in textile :) Sounds good? Well, I'm not satysfied with this one but I'm eager to try more. The size of it is 18x24 cms. I would prefer it a bit smaller. I'm planning to frame it with matt (to be ready to put in frame) and I want it to have this look of medieval miniature. We'll see.

This is for the quiet bloggers (with less than 300 followers) who simply keep going with their work.
So that's how my new cardigan looks now.
And the buttons. Yes, I have a thing with mother of pearl :)
But the funny thing is, that I decided not to use the heart buttons on my quilt :( So where the love is? Here:
My good wife prefers appliqued hearts much more :)
I think that this vintage linen print will be very good for her. And a bit of vintage richelieu to add some softness.
Now she can feel like a real lady :)
