This and that / To i owo



My today's etsy treasury was inspired entirely by the weather :) Despite our hopes for early spring winter still keeps with us. It shouldn't be a problem for someone born in February, but well, a bit of sunshine wouldn't really hurt too :)
Thank you all for the B-day wishes! Seems that I'm not alone in longing for more art in my life. And look at the best gifts I received: from my daughter
Moja dzisiejsza kolekcja na etsy inspirowana była całkowicie przez pogodę :) Mimo naszych nadziei na wczesną wiosnę, zima nie odpuszcza. Niby nie powinien to być problem dla kogoś urodzonego w lutym, ale cóż, odrobina słońca też by nie zaszkodziła :)
Serdecznie dziękuję za urodzinowe życzenia! Wygląda na to, że nie jestem osamotniona w pragnieniu większej obecności sztuki w moim życiu. Zobaczcie najpiękniejsze prezenty jakie dostałam: od córki

And a short trip to Prague was a great addition to my birthday celebration :) I've found there some great cutlery for my textile cuisine:
No i mały wypad do Pragi to też piękne uzupełnienie urodzinowych obchodów :) Znalazłam tam śliczne sztućce, wprost idealne do szmacianej kuchni:

So now I'm really refreshed, inspired and ready for big things :) And no, I didn't forget about some Easter ornaments:
No to teraz już czuję się odświeżona, zainspirowana i gotowa do rzeczy wielkich :) Ale oczywiście nie zapomniałam o Wielkanocnych ornamentach:

Można pozazdrościć prezentów :),a wiosenno-wielkanocne ornamenty b przyjemne wrażenie robią. Wierna do bólu Anna :)

My birthday was in January and my best presents were for my pottery from ... my daughter! I am interested in the 'cottage ear-rings' in your pictures - just when you think you've seen it all! xC

Botanical laces / Botaniczne koronki

I told you about my love for laces before ( HERE ). Maybe I wasn't clear, but in fact I see laces everywhere. Wspominałam już wcześniej o mojej miłości do koronek (choćby TU ). Nie wiem jednak, czy macie świadomość, że ja je widzę wszędzie. This artwork from 2008, named "My Way" is the first one where I decided to show it off. Jak widzicie, moje koronki to taka kombinacja wzorów koronkowych z roślinnymi. I collect botanical books even longer than lace books. And I use them for inspirations pretty often. The hen in troubles

Sometimes things are simply overwhelming... I can only guess that keeping balance for this little hen is quite a challenge. But she keeps her face straight. The amount of dishes is truly impressive. To dive or not to dive? Maybe just looking will do the job? But the water seems so joyful and friendly... So maybe, just maybe, all the troubles will turn out to be manageable? Courage, little hen!

Old Garden collection / Ogrodowa kolekcja

Do you remember my mysterious "Old Garden" ? Now I call it finished! Next time when I start something like this, please remind me that it is not the fastest kind of work :) Pamiętacie mój tajemniczy "Stary Ogród" ? Uważam go za skończony! A następnym razem, jak się wezmę za coś takiego, przypomnijcie mi proszę, że to nie jest ekspresowa robótka :) But I have to confess - I love it! And I'm really glad that I made it. Ale przyznaję - uwielbiam go! I bardzo się cieszę, że zrobiłam coś takiego. I'm going to frame it professionally and put on a honorable place on the wall. With the pieces like this it is impossible to sell it - there's no money I would prefer to keep instead of this magical garden. It's not just the matter of the amount of time spent on this. It is more about my thoughts, some ideas and their execution, it is so much "me". Mam zamiar dać go do oprawy, a potem powiesić na honorowym miejscu. Takie rzeczy nie nada
