The Textile Cuisine

While Spring cleaning I found this old work of mine and decided it's perfect time for some blooming :) Podczas wiosennych porządków znalazłam taką swoją starą pracę i pomyślałam, że to świetny czas na coś kwitnącego :) I also composed a small Easter set for my etsy : Skomponowałam też mały zestaw Wielkanocny do mojego etsy : And with the reverse of the egg it looks totally different: A z drugą stroną jajka wygląda zupełnie inaczej:

The new "basket", Nowy "koszyczek", or even two, albo nawet dwa, new eggs, nowe jaja, some hens, kilka kurek, and we can start playing.... i zaczynamy zabawę...

The weather makes me to play with wool even more. So here is another soft and cozy woolen hen. But not that I stopped with eggs :) Pogoda raczej nastraja mnie do pracy z wełną. No to kolejna miękka i przytulna, wełniana kurka. Ale z jajkami oczywiście jeszcze nie skończyłam :) I made two sets of 4 and put them into shop . Zrobiłam dwa zestawy po 4 i wstawiłam do sklepu . And found a clever way how to use them :) I znalazłam sprytny sposób ich użycia :)

The poet is in a quilting process now. I've started with a sky. Poetka się teraz pikuje. Zaczęłam od nieba. But the Spring project is finished already :) Ale wiosenka już gotowa :) It was really breezy. And a big fun! To było naprawdę łatwiutkie. A jaka frajda!

Yes, I made another hen. Believe me, this is the softest hen in the world - it is a cashmere hen. And this is my favorite, as for now. Maybe she is a secret mother from my easy - breezy project? Despite her lack of colour... No tak, zrobiłam jeszcze jedną kurę. A jaka mięciutka - jest z kaszmiru. I, jak na razie, moja ulubiona. Może to ona jest tajemniczą mamusią z mojego błyskawicznego projektu wiosennego? Mimo, że szarobura...   Yes, it is this time of a year :) And if you remember THIS , you know that when I start with eggs, I can't stop: Tak, to jest  ten czas :) I jeżeli pamiętacie TO , to wiecie, że jak zacznę z jajami, to nie mogę przestać: This time I'm making egg's ornaments :) The egg is small - 5 x 7 cms and lots of fun to do. Tym razem robię jajeczne ornamenty :)  Jajko jest małe - 5 x 7 cm i bardzo sympatyczne w robocie.

Yes, I want to see green everywhere. So I keep adding cabbage :) Tak, wszędzie chciałabym widzieć zielony. No to dodaję kapusty :) And my speedy spring project is quilted now. A mój błyskawiczny projekt wiosenny jest już przepikowany. And here is something just for fun. I have a great find in the area of, let's say, "domestic archeology": A teraz taki drobiażdżek. Mam ciekawe znalezisko na polu, powiedzmy, "archeologii domowej": This is a piece of my very own embroidery done 34 years ago :) I remember it very well, but had no idea it survived. The design is inspired by the one seen in Burda :) I was making clothes for myself from ever. And this was made for a special event - a ball ending my primary school. I'm realy surprised that it is in such a good condition - mind you, the threads are not DMC or Coats, they were made by a small, local manufacturer! And the blouse was washed many times.
