... or even three of them :) ... a nawet trzy :) Almost the same, yet different. Niby takie same, a jednak różne. So they will be framed differently. Dlatego dostaną różne ramki. But same leaves - golden. Ale takie same listki - złote. And different flowers - pink, blue and green. Natomiast różne kwiatki - różowe, niebieskie i zielone. And now we can patiently wait for the real spring :) No i teraz możemy sobie cierpliwie czekać na prawdziwą wiosnę :)

If you remember my old carrots you are not surprised that when I saw THIS picture I had an iinstant idea for a quilt: Jeżeli pamiętacie jeszcze moje marchewki , to nie zdziwi Was, że patrząc na TO zdjęcie od razu miałam pomysł na quilt: Well, it's rather a quiltlet but anyway :) No, raczej quiltcik, ale jednak :) Despite the fact that winter is still here, I'm longing for spring food. Mimo, że ciągle jeszcze mamy zimę, bardzo tęsknię już za wiosennym jedzeniem. That's why I find playing with roots in textiles so fulfilling :) Dlatego chętnie bawię się korzonkami w tkaninie :) It was really funny to make this humble parsley on rich, silk jacquard. Again - it's very difficult to photograph. The piece is pretty long and the silk is shinning like a crazy. Bardzo spodobał mi się pomysł umieszczenia skromnej pitruszki na bogatym, jedwabnym żakardzie. I znowu - trudno zrobić temu dobre zdjęcie. Pietrucha jest raczej długa, a jedwab błyszczy się jak s

... at least mine :) And yes, it's terrible to photograph it gracefully. So you have to believe me - it looks good (if I say so myself). Czyli musicie uwierzyć mi na słowo - dobrze wygląda (jeśli sama mogę tak powiedzieć). A teraz pooglądajcie zdjęcia i... pozwólcie popracować wyobraźni :)

This morning, while working on Etsy, I went through tons of images of blueberries . I'm a fruit gal, but blueberries are one of my most loved. And before I even noticed I was playing with my beads thinking about blueberry ideas. Dziś rano, pracując na Etsy, obejrzałam chyba tonę jagodowych rzeczy. Ja w ogóle jestem owocowa, ale jagody chyba kocham najbardziej. No i ani się obejrzałam, a już garść koralików uruchomiła we mnie różne jagodowe pomysły. This one with cream stayed a bit longer with me :) Ten ze śmietaną został ze mną na dłużej :) But, as we all know, the hardest part with blueberries is to collect them. To fullfil even medium jar takes some time. So what is the power of art if not to make our lives better? How about the tree of blueberries? Wszyscy wiemy, że najgorsze w jagodach jest ich zbieranie. Oh well, when your to-do list becomes too long, you just have to put everything aside for a moment and... relax, right? That's what I did lately. Kiedy lista bardzo-ważnych-spraw staje się zbyt długa, dobrze jest odłożyć ją na chwilę na bok i... odpocząć, prawda? Właśnie tak ostatnio zrobiłam. I love botanical illustrations. They are constant inspiration for me and I use them for references in my works. And always have them handy. So it was my first choice for making something just for fun. Especially while having such beautiful linens for background :) Uwielbiam botaniczne ilustracje. Bardzo mnie inspirują i często ich używam jako żródła informacji w swoich pracach. I zawsze mam je pod ręką. Dlatego właśnie taki botaniczny obrazek postanowiłam uszyć w ramach relaksu. Yeap, it's this time of a year - Birthday time. This year I was surprised by unusual gift from my dearest ones - a short, refreshing trip! So maybe it is tough to be a queen (as my mother says) but sometimes it feels pretty good :) And yes, I managed to wash my winter landscape, just to discover that one part... doesn't work :( So I ripped it down. Tak, to ten czas - czas moich urodzin. W tym roku najbliżsi zaskoczyli mnie cudownym prezentem w postaci krótkiej, odświeżającej wycieczki! Więc może i ciężko być królową (jak mówi moja mama), ale czasami to bardzo przyjemne :) Przed wyjazdem zdołałam jeszcze wyprać mój pejzaż, ale chyba tylko po to, żeby zobaczyć, że jednak nie wszystko wyszło dobrze.
