It turned out that I needed some break from intricacy after completing my Victorian lady. So I went into something totally different - landscape with big spots of color and just a few beads :) Okazało się, że muszę odetchnąć trochę po żmudnej dłubaninie mojej wiktoriańskiej damy. Więc poszłam w inną stronę - pejzaż z dużymi plamami koloru i zaledwie paroma koralikami :) What is the most surprising in this art quilt is the background - hand dyed by myself! It happens sometimes but in general it is a rare thing. This time I had a piece of a vintage linen of very high quality so I knew it will take the color very easy and (what's more important) the color will stay there. Tym co mnie najbardziej zaskoczyło było tło - sama ufarbowałam! Czasem mi się to zdarza, ale baaaardzo rzadko.
