The Textile Cuisine

I'm still working on the idea of framing my teapots. And here is the newest result :) Cały czas szukam sposobów na oprawę czajniczków. I to moje najnowsze osiągnięcie :) I used some brass wire and silk for the flowers and a piece of brass for the background. Of course it is difficult to take a good picture of it because the most interesting effect is with the light - the whole piece is just shining. I made two teapots in this serie: Kwiatki z mosiężnego drutu i jedwabiu, tło z mosiężnej blachy. Oczywiście fatalne do zrobienia zdjęcia, bo najciekawszy efekt daje ze światłem - cały świeci. Zrobiłam dwa z tej serii: I have to tell you that being on etsy maybe isn't a big bussiness (what a pity!), but it is a fun. I've met lots of talented, interesting people. And we know how to play. This time I want to show you that I'm listening to you :) When I asked, what do you think about the "textile pottery" idea, one of my readers suggested potholders. So I made one :) A teraz chcę Wam pokazać, że Was słucham :) Kiedy zapytałam o Wasze opinie na temat mojej "szmacianej porcelany", jedna z czytelniczek zasugerowała łapki do garnków. No i zrobiłam taką :) Personally, I'm not a big potholders' fan. But I like challanges :) Osobiście nie jestem wielka fanką łapek. Ale lubię wyzwania :) What do you think? Co myślicie?   It turned out, that my last post was a bit confusing because of the Rocket salad thing. So now I will add some more confusion, this time with the lace :) Okazało się, że mój ostatni post wprowadził trochę zamieszania tą rukolą.No to teraz jeszcze bardziej zamieszam, tym razem koronką :) It has nothing in common with the Rocket salad, with the poet or a garden. Now you've got them all :) Teraz macie tu je wszystkie :) The reverse side. For me it looks like a necklace for the kitchen :) A tak z drugiej strony. Dla mnie to taki naszyjnik do kuchni :) This is a part you haven't seen before. The whole thing is 68 cms long. To chyba taka część, której wcześniej nie widzieliście. Całość ma 68cm długości. And here they are stacked up :) So I can move to my poet... A teraz są złożone :) To ja mogę przejść do poetki... She is taking shape and doesn't feel very lonely now :) Powoli przybiera kształt i nie czuje się już taka samotna :)

Why not? A dlaczego nie? No, there's no water inside :) Nie, nie ma w środku wody :)

Lucky me, that despite the cold weather, I can still work in my garden :) Na szczęście, mimo zimna, w moim ogródku mogę pracować :) And there's some news on the pottery front. One of the winners of my pots, Mialkotek , suggested, that she is going to frame it. That gave me some idea: No i mam nowinkę porcelanową. Jedna ze zdobywczyń mojego dzbanuszka, Mialkotek , powiedziała, że ma zamiar go oprawić. To mi podsunęło pewien pomysł: I didn't think about it before. Wcześniej sama na to nie wpadłam.  And now it opens whole new possibilities for me :) A to otwiera mnóstwo nowych możliwości :) And to open a new, textile pottery chapter on my etsy , I started with an old cards: A na otwarcie nowego, porcelanowego działu w etsy , wygrzebałam stare kartki :

I know it is late and I'm sorry for that. Above you can see all the parcitipants. Przepraszam, że tak późno. Powyżej widzicie chętnych na dzbanuszki. I hope that everything is transparent enough :) So here goes the drawing process... Mam nadzieję, że wszystko jest dostatecznie przezroczyste :) No to losujemy... ... but not mine, this time ... ale tym razem nie mój I always wanted to catch this moment and finally  found a proper object. Usually, when we see the final result, we don't remember already how it all started. Zawsze chciałam złapać ten moment i nareszcie znalazłam właściwy obiekt. Zazwyczaj, kiedy widzimy efekt końcowy, nie pamiętamy już, od czego się to wszystko zaczęło. This is my after-Easter reflection. And tomorrow is the end of my giveaway - hurry up :) To taka moja po-Wielkanocna refleksja. A jutro losowanie dzbanków - śpieszcie się :)

Well, there's a new idea for small ornaments going here. Textile pottery :) It is very useful - unbreakable, washable and... hmmm... hangable :) No więc pracujemy tutaj nad nowym pomysłem na małe wiszące. Szmaciana porcelana :) Bardzo pożyteczna rzecz - nietłukąca, pralna i... hmmm... wieszalna :)   You can hang it everywhere! Ok, in some cases it can serves as a coaster too :) Można wieszać wszędzie! No dobrze, czasem można też użyć jako podkładki :) Well, to be honest I wanted it to be just for the decoration. But when you start playing with some idea, many more is coming along. Let me know, what do YOU think. Szczerze mówiąc, myślałam o tym wyłącznie w sensie dekoracyjnym. Ale jak zaczynasz pracować nad jakimś pomysłem, od razu przychodzą następne. A co WY myślicie?
