Here I am - refreshed and relaxed, ready for upcoming spring. My carrots are done and the longer I look at them the more I can see how appropiate they are for this time of the year - the outside part is very greish but the hidden part is bursting with strong energy. Yes, the spring IS coming! Oto jestem - odświeżona i zrelaksowana, gotowa na zbliżającą się wiosnę. Moje marchewki są gotowe i im dłużej na nie patrzę, tym lepiej widzę, jak bardzo one odzwierciedlają obecny czas - na zewnątrz szarawo, a to co schowane aż kipi energią. Tak, wiosna NADCHODZI!

The carrots are quilted and now I have to embroider their green parts. Despite the snow outside the window, working on the carrots makes me to feel that spring is coming. And now I'm going for short vacations. And you may have some more fun with carrots visiting ... The Museum of Carrots . Have fun and see you next Thursday! I liked what I was reading about The Year of Tiger. It sounds like a very energetic year, full of braveness and risk (in the positive meaning). So I thought, it would be good to "see" this tiger (and his power) in everything. And I saw it... in... carrots :) Podobało mi się to, co czytałam o Roku Tygrysa. Brzmi jak rok pełen energii, dzielności i ryzyka (w dobrym sensie). I pomyślałam sobie, że dobrze byłoby "zobaczyć" tego tygrysa (i jego moc) we wszystkim. I zobaczyłam go... w... marchewkach :) The carrots from Benary's calendar are very nice but boring. Marchewki w kalendarzu Benary'ego są bardzo ładne, ale nudne. Maybe mine are a bit boring too, they are just getting ready to jump (like a tiger). But look how interesting carrots could be here . Może te moje też są trochę nudne, one dopiero prężą się do skoku (tygrysiego). Ale zobaczcie, jakie ciewkawe moga być marchewki tutaj .

I don't know about you, but I feel ready for St. Valentine's. My wild strawberries are ready to eat (with your eyes, of course). The background is busy enough and even the touches of gold are added. Nie wiem jak Wy, ale ja jestem do Walentynek gotowa. Poziomki można zjeść (oczami, oczywiście). Tło zapełnione i nawet złote akcenty dodane. But don't forget about Chinese New Year starting tomorrow, the Year of Tiger! Ale nie zapomnijmy, że także jutro zaczyna sie chiński Nowy Rok, Rok Tygrysa!
