The Textile Cuisine

As you can see the heat wave kept me away from the blog. But it gave me some space for slow stitching and thinking. And while coming back to my blog after the break it dawned on me that I didn't show you the projects mentioned at the start but not when completed. Let's take for example the biggest one - "Red garden". Jak widzicie fala upałów skutecznie powstrzymała mnie od blogowania. Ale też dała trochę więcej miejsca na spokojne, powolne szycie i myślenie. No i uświadomiłam sobie, że mam różne projekty o których rozpoczęciu pisałam, a skończonych nie pokazałam. Na przykład ten największy - "Czerwony ogród". Do you remember my blueberries card ? The time has come to check it with reality :) And now, as my duties are done I can get back to more creative part of artistic life. It turned out, that despite of hot hot weather, I want to play with reds. Pamiętacie moje jagodowe kartki ? Nadszedł czas skonfrontowania ich z rzeczywistością :) A ja, po wypełnieniu przeróżnych obowiązków wracam do bardziej kreatywnej strefy mojego artystycznego życia. Okazuje się, że pomimo szalejących upałów, oczuwam potrzebę pracy z czerwienią. Strange? Maybe, but seems like my "summer custom" - last year I made this: Dziwne? Może, ale zdaje się, że "tak mam" - w ubiegłym roku zrobiłam to: The summer wasn't that hot so I used less of reds :) But they are same bold.
