The Textile Cuisine

After the long weekend spent in my garden the beet soup is finished! Po długim weekendzie spędzonym w moim małym ogródku, botwinka skończona! I know, last post was one moth ago. Oh well... But I have a good excuse - homeworks (or even houseworks). Do you remember this old post when I declared my will to participate in the "Home Is Where The Quilt Is" project? Here you see my entry :)  Wiem, ostatnia notka była miesiąc temu. No cóż... Ale mam dobre usprawiedliwienie - prace domowe (czy raczej domkowe). Pamiętacie ten stary post , w którym zapowiadałam chęć wzięcia udziału w projekcie "Home Is Where The Quilt Is" ? Oto mój domek :) I titled it "Real Homes Wear Quilts" and I know it arrived safe and sound. I also sent my entry for another contest (accepted!) but can't show it publicly yet. And working on this house resulted in some side effects :) Zatytułowałam go "Real Homes Wear Quilts" i wiem już, że bezpiecznie dotarł na miejsce. Udało mi się też wziąć udział w jeszcze jednym konkursie (i przeszłam!), ale tego nie mogę na razie pokazać. A praca nad tym domkiem ma pewne

Another year passed away and I didn't even notice. My birthday is tomorrow so the quilt has to be shown again. But this time with no new additions :( The Year of Rabbit was really meaningful for me. Many unexpected things happened and they changed my life. Fortunately everything went quiet and peaceful, just as a rabbit. One of the unsatisfying things from the last year was a small development in the art area. So I made a resolution for myself to change it this year. I'm still busy with etsy but decided to find some moments every week for "the real stuff". It's a must. Even with small steps I will go forward, right? So I started with adding small amounts of stiches to the old WIPs: Kolejny rok minął i prawie tego nie zauważyłam. Jutro moje urodziny, więc trzeba wyciągnąć urodzinowy quilt.
