The Textile Cuisine

In the kitchen? Not much, just a table. But I made another tree. It is totally different from the previous ones and probably better as a pendant. It is also smaller - 8 cms in diameter. This tree is embroidered on a piece of silk stretched on a copper wire. W kuchni? Niewiele, tylko stół. Ale zrobiłam jeszcze jedno drzewo. Jest zupełnie inne od poprzednich i pewnie lepsze jako wisiorek. Jest także mniejsze - 8 cm średnicy. Drzewo jest wyhaftowane na kawałku jedwabiu, rozpietym na miedzianym drucie. And this tree reminds me that I should start finishing my apple tree :) A to drzewo przypomina mi, że powinnam zacząć kończyć moje jabłka/pomidory :)

The tree from yesterday's post was meant as a jewellery piece. But it turned out too big - it is 16 x 15 cms. So I've tried to make a smaller one. Drzewko z wczorajszego postu miało być biżuterią. Ale wyszło za duże - ma 16 x 15 cm. Spróbowałam zrobić mniejsze. This time it is 11 x 10 cms, so much more suitable for the neck. I'm getting ready for my favourite Festival of Arts & Crafts in Poznan, 3-5 of December. So the next trees will follow soon (at least I hope so) :) Tym razem 11 x 10 cm, czyli na szyję już się nadaje. Przygotowuję się do mojego ulubionego Festiwalu Sztuki i Przedmiotów Artystycznych w Poznaniu, 3-5 grudnia. Tak więc kolejne drzewka pojawią się wkrótce (a przynajmniej taką mam nadzieję) :)

I'm not sure if you see all that handwork I put into it, but in reality it is clearly seen. Nie jestem pewna, czy widać tu tę całą ręczną robótkę, ale na żywo widać. So here are some close-ups: To może kilka zbliżeń: Well, I have to conffess, that the more it is finished the more I want to add something else :) But as for now it may hang and I can think if it really needs something else. Muszę się przyznać, że im bardziej ten rynek jest skończony, tym więcej chcę do niego dodawać :) Ale na razie może sobie spokojnie wisieć, a ja pomyślę, czy rzeczywiście jeszcze czegoś mu potrzeba. But I have also something totally new to share: Ale mam też coś całkiem nowego do pokazania: It is a brand new idea and I hope to develop it into something interesting. To zupełnie nowy pomysł i mam nadzieję jakoś ciekawie go rozwinąć. Not related with cooking but another attempt to trees. Let's name it the beginning of my new orchard :) Nie jest związany z gotowan
