The Textile Cuisine

The poet is in a quilting process now. I've started with a sky. Poetka się teraz pikuje. Zaczęłam od nieba. But the Spring project is finished already :) Ale wiosenka już gotowa :) It was really breezy. And a big fun! To było naprawdę łatwiutkie. A jaka frajda!

Yes, I made another hen. Believe me, this is the softest hen in the world - it is a cashmere hen. And this is my favorite, as for now. Maybe she is a secret mother from my easy - breezy project? Despite her lack of colour... No tak, zrobiłam jeszcze jedną kurę. A jaka mięciutka - jest z kaszmiru. I, jak na razie, moja ulubiona. Może to ona jest tajemniczą mamusią z mojego błyskawicznego projektu wiosennego? Mimo, że szarobura...   Yes, it is this time of a year :) And if you remember THIS , you know that when I start with eggs, I can't stop: Tak, to jest  ten czas :) I jeżeli pamiętacie TO , to wiecie, że jak zacznę z jajami, to nie mogę przestać: This time I'm making egg's ornaments :) The egg is small - 5 x 7 cms and lots of fun to do. Tym razem robię jajeczne ornamenty :)  Jajko jest małe - 5 x 7 cm i bardzo sympatyczne w robocie.

... this is an old Polish saying about the weather in March. And here goes the same - some more cabbage and some  transcendence...   ...to niby o pogodzie, ale tutaj tak samo - trochę kapusty, trochę transcendencji... As poet said: Between the passion And annihilation instinct Betweem Eros and Thanatos Jak mówi poetka : Pomiędzy namiętnością A instynktem zagłady Erosem a Thanatosem   Eros on the left, Thanatos on the right. Eros po lewej, Thanatos po prawej. And out of the blue I have to work on something totally different: I nagle, ni stąd ni zowąd, czuję, że muszę zrobić coś zupełnie innego: One day I just pulled some scraps and composed such a background. It is the best sign that the Spring is coming - I need to make something easy- breezy, colorful. So now I just keep adding greens to it :) Pewnego dnia po prostu wyciągnęłam różne  skrawki i ułożyłam taką kompozycję. To najlepszy znak, że wiosna nadchodzi - czuję silną potrzebę zrobienia czegoś szybkiego, łatwego

So I've started the quilting process and frankly speaking it is harder than I thought. A więc zaczęłam pikowanie i szczerze powiedziawszy jest to trudniejsze niż myślałam. And the grasses don't make it any easier :) A trawki na pewno mi tego nie ułatwiają :) In the meantime I can show you one of the older Easter decorations of mine: A tymaczasem mogę pokazać Wam jedną z moich starszych Wielkanocnych dekoracji: It is a small curtain for the kitchen window. Every year as soon as I put it up, we know that Easter and spring are coming! To jest mała firanka na kuchenne okno. Każdego roku jak tylko ją powieszę to wiemy, że Wielkanoc i wiosna nadchodzą!
