The Textile Cuisine

   Here she is - in full glory! Oto i ona - w pełnym blasku!  You know: "A good wife so proud was, to cook what her Men liked the most" But if you remember the beginning of this story , there's another one coming to us. This time inspired by a serious poem, which I'm going to present to you in the next post. And now I have to confess, that I've found another inspirational poem so it is turning into a serie of "women in the kitchens" :) Wiecie: "Dobra żona tym się chlubi, że gotuje co mąż lubi" Ale jeżeli pamiętacie początek tej historii ,  to wiecie, że nadchodzi następna. Tym razem inspirowana prawdziwym wierszem, który w następnym poście zaprezentuję. Thank you for the Bday wishes! I am a bit older but the hens keep coming :) Dzięki za urodzinowe życzenia! Jestem już troszkę starsza, ale kury ciągle się mnie trzymają :)  Now I make them with the hangers (some more options to use them). And the best part is to try them in different fabrics. I love it :) Teraz robię je z wieszaczkami (więcej możliwości zastosowania). A najlepsze jest, oczywiście, kombinowanie z różnymi tkaninami. Uwielbiam to :)

 So now we are entering The Year of The Rabbit. Well, for me the rabbits are harder than hens. The most beautiful one was already done by Debbie , etegami artist. So why did I make one too? Beacuse it is my year :) I was born in a year of the rabbit and 4th of February is my Birthday! So I decided to add a rabbit to my Birthday cake. A więc wchodzimy w Rok Królika. No cóż, króliki trudniejsze niż kury. Najładniejszego namalowała już Debbie , artystka etegami. To dlaczego jednak jakiegoś popełniłam? Bo to mój rok :) Urodziłam się w roku królika, a 4 lutego są moje urodziny! Postanowiłam więc dodać królika do mojego torciku.  Do you remember it from the last year ? Pamiętacie go z ubiegłego roku ? So now my hen has a company. This one is with hanger. I like them both. They are soft (the prototype was with copper wire inside, bad idea), made out of raw silk embellished with decorative threads and beads. But, as it happens when you think about something intensively, now I have some more ideas for hens. And can't wait to try them out :) Well, the same goes with my miniatures. Here is another one. No to teraz moje kurka ma towarzystwo. Tym razem z wieszaczkiem. Lubię je obie. Są miękkie (prototyp miał w środku miedziany drut, zły pomysł), uszyte z surowego jedwabiu, ozdobione koralikami i lekko podhaftowane. Ale, jak to zwykle bywa, gdy się o czymś intensywnie myśli, mam już nowe pomysły na kury. I nie mogę się doczekać, żeby je sprawdzić :) No cóż, to samo mam z miniaturami. Oto kolejna.   This one is closest to my idea. Ta jest najbliżej mojego wyobrażenia. So I matted it and put to my shop :) Dlatego ją włożyłam w passepartout i wstawiłam do sklepu :)

Yes, it is another hen, but it is the size of pictures which matters in this post :) Tak, to jest kolejna kura, ale w tym poście chodzi o rozmiar zdjęć :)

My Good Wife is doing well. Her pot has handles and she has a towel. So the only thing missing was... a bowl :) Moja Dobra Żona ma się dobrze. Jej garnek ma już uchwyty, a ona ma ściereczkę. Czyli jedyne, czego brakuje to... miska :) and coasters, of course :) i podkładki, oczywiście :) Call me dumb but it was just while playing with the bowl for the pictures... Możecie nazwać mnie gapą, ale dopiero przy robieniu zdjęć... when I realised that in fact I made two bowls: zorientowałam się, że tak naprawdę to zrobiłam dwie miski: The former ones where made with the same fabrics inside and outside, but why didn't I think about it earlier??? The coasters are reversible too: Poprzednie były robione z tej samej tkaniny w środku i na zewnątrz, ale dlaczego sama wcześniej o tym nie pomyślałam??? I thought that you may want to see some bowls in use. The one above is my friend's bowl with glass balls. It is with her lucky pig :) Pomyślałam sobie, że może chcecie zobaczyć takie miski w użyciu. Ta powyżej to mojej przyjaciółki miska na szklane kule. Z przynoszącą szczęście świnką :) And this one is for eggs: A ta jest na jajka: And what I especially like in them is their flexibility in packing :) A ja najbardziej lubię elastyczność tych misek w pakowaniu :)
