Herring's placemats / Śledziowe podkładki

Here they are. Much more delicate than the ones from last year. Oto one. Znacznie delikatniejsze niż te z ubiegłego roku. But that's because of the new (and now favorite) receipe - herrings on the swedish way. They are sweet (and sour too)! And the rose is here not because of beets but because of red onion :) Ale to z powodu nowego (i obecnie ulubionego) przepisu - śledzie po szwedzku. One są słodkie (ale kwaśne też)! A róża to nie z powodu buraków, ale z powodu czerwonej cebuli :) And here is the source of inspiration - the real ones, yummy :) A tutaj źródło inspiracji - te prawdziwe, pyszne :)

I told you about my love for laces before ( HERE ). Maybe I wasn't clear, but in fact I see laces everywhere. Wspominałam już wcześniej o mojej miłości do koronek (choćby TU ). Nie wiem jednak, czy macie świadomość, że ja je widzę wszędzie. This artwork from 2008, named "My Way" is the first one where I decided to show it off. Jak widzicie, moje koronki to taka kombinacja wzorów koronkowych z roślinnymi. I collect botanical books even longer than lace books. And I use them for inspirations pretty often. The hen in troubles

Sometimes things are simply overwhelming... I can only guess that keeping balance for this little hen is quite a challenge. But she keeps her face straight. The amount of dishes is truly impressive. To dive or not to dive? Maybe just looking will do the job? But the water seems so joyful and friendly... So maybe, just maybe, all the troubles will turn out to be manageable? Courage, little hen!

Old Garden collection / Ogrodowa kolekcja

Do you remember my mysterious "Old Garden" ? Now I call it finished! Next time when I start something like this, please remind me that it is not the fastest kind of work :) Pamiętacie mój tajemniczy "Stary Ogród" ? Uważam go za skończony! A następnym razem, jak się wezmę za coś takiego, przypomnijcie mi proszę, że to nie jest ekspresowa robótka :) But I have to confess - I love it! And I'm really glad that I made it. Ale przyznaję - uwielbiam go! I bardzo się cieszę, że zrobiłam coś takiego. I'm going to frame it professionally and put on a honorable place on the wall. With the pieces like this it is impossible to sell it - there's no money I would prefer to keep instead of this magical garden. It's not just the matter of the amount of time spent on this.
