How to make a bracelet? / Jak zrobić bransoletkę?

I start with too much precious scraps I just don't want to throw out. I organize them and glue with the iron to fliseline.
Then I sew them randomly just for security. This way I have one piece of a "fabric". Just to add some batting and to back it with a piece of cotton.
Dodaję ocieplinę i bawełniany spód.
Now I quilt it but not as a regular quilt - it is rather to keep the layers together and to secure most of fraying edges:
Now, as I have the "content" I can divide it into as many bracelets as I want:
I don't want them too narrow and I know that it's easier to work on the bigger piece. So I just keep folding and cutting until the size suits my fancy :)
Now it's the starting point for actual working on one bracelet. Usually I start with the most boring and uninteresting piece. And the first one from the right seems perfect :)
No to teraz już można zacząć faktyczną pracę nad bransoletką. Na pierwszy ogień idzie najmniej ciekawy kawałek. Ten z prawej jest idealny :)
Just checking if it is long enough for the typical 7" wrist:
Yes, it is :) Now it is time to use another scraps - a bit bigger. For finishing and lining.
I decided to use some raw silks - they are very flexible in working and nice to the skin. The narrow stripes are for the edges . It is the moment when I have to decide how wide the bracelet is going to be and which parts of the chosen "fabric" are the most interesting.
And now it is time for some handwork:
A teraz czas na prace ręczne:
Again, I do it with no special plan, just to add some new color (and secure  any missed fraying places).
So, I'm almost done - the rest is just to finish it:
Robię to znowu bez specjalnego zamysłu, tyle, żeby dodać nowego koloru (i zabezpieczyć ewentualne strzępiące miejsca).
No i prawie zrobione - teraz tylko wykończenie.
Because I want it to keep the shape I'm adding a piece of thicker fliseline. Its seize is a width and circumference of the finished bracelet. Now, again, it's time to decide which part of the bracelet is a real bracelet:
I have to really think about it because this decision is final:
And the rest is an easy - peasy cutting and sewing:
A reszta to już proste ciecie i zszywanie:
Voila!
Voila!
And now it's washing time :)
A teraz czas na pranie :)
and drying:
i suszenie:
And frankly speaking, it was easier to make this bracelet than to take all those pictures :))
I szczerze mówiąc, łatwiej się szyje taką bransoletkę niż robi te wszystkie zdjęcia :))

Well - I won't be trying it cos it looks way too difficult for little me. But they do look wonderful and I would use them for napkin rings!

Wow Bozena,
I just love your crazy patchwork bracelet - I am going to copy it for Heart Space shop...thank you for being so generous with your process.

When I have made my books showing how to make embroideries and even crazy patchwork things - the "step by steps" took ages to do - and often the best ideas cannot be made in an easy way for people to follow without you being there to help.

so I am full of admiration for your ingenuity.
