Another attempt to miniatures / Kolejne podejście do miniatur


This one is a bit better (at least smaller), but I'm still not there yet.

Ta jest trochę lepsza (przynajmniej mniejsza), ale to ciągle jeszcze nie to.


The idea for this came from Decameron :)

Pomysł na to przyszedł z Dekamerona :)

But no, it's not her lover's heart on their table. It is... my coaster :)

Ale nie, na ich stole nie leży serce jej kochanka. To moja... podkładka pod kubeczek :)


I made a set of 2 for my etsy:

Zrobiłam taki zestaw do mojego slepiku:


I also quilted a frame of my Good Wife:

Wypikowałam też obramowanie mojej Dobrej Żony:

And now have to wash it to see how all the vintage fabrics behave :)

A teraz muszę to wyprać, żeby zobaczyć jak te wszystkie stare tkaniny się zachowują :)

Hello again after a long break! Well, I'm still working but mostly on secret projects and little or nothing to show. But now it's different - I finished this little jewel and have to share it with you immediately. The story of this "Botanical garden" started one year ago. Just after coming back from "Ziołowy Zakątek" - botanical herbal garden mentioned here many times. Witam po nieoczekiwanej przerwie! Tak to, niestety jest, gdy się pracuje nad rzeczami nie-do-pokazania-na-razie, nie ma o czym pisać :) Ale dzisiaj jest - skończyłam taki drobiazg i muszę go Wam pokazać natychmiast. Idea  tego "Ogrodu botanicznego" narodziła się rok temu. Zaraz po powrocie z prawdziwego ogrodu w Zielonym Zakątku. Old Garden collection / Ogrodowa kolekcja

Do you remember my mysterious "Old Garden" ? Now I call it finished! Next time when I start something like this, please remind me that it is not the fastest kind of work :) Pamiętacie mój tajemniczy "Stary Ogród" ? Uważam go za skończony! A następnym razem, jak się wezmę za coś takiego, przypomnijcie mi proszę, że to nie jest ekspresowa robótka :) But I have to confess - I love it! And I'm really glad that I made it. Ale przyznaję - uwielbiam go! I bardzo się cieszę, że zrobiłam coś takiego. I'm going to frame it professionally and put on a honorable place on the wall. With the pieces like this it is impossible to sell it - there's no money I would prefer to keep instead of this magical garden. It's not just the matter of the amount of time spent on this. It is more about my thoughts, some ideas and their execution, it is so much "me". Mam zamiar dać go do oprawy, a potem powiesić na honorowym miejscu. Takie rzeczy nie nada...
