This time I have to start with text. Mostly because I was awarded by a fellow blogger Joanna . You know that I'm not for all the awards' game but anyway I feel honoured. It is a real joy to see that you, all of my readers and followers, like what I share here. Big thanks for your presence, for your comments and for all the courage I've got from you. This is one of my first hens. The one with the lacking hanger. She stayed with me and now we work together on computer. Of course it happened by accident that I couldn't find a better place for drying ruccola seeds than my desk but the hen seems to like it very much :) I keep playing with hens and here is my latest model : To jedna z moich pierwszych kur. Ta bez wieszaczka. Została ze mną i teraz razem pracujemy na komputerze. Oczywiście to całkowity przypadek, że nie znalazłam lepszego miejsca do suszenia nasion rukoli niz moje biurko, ale kurce się spodobało :) Cały czas robię kury, a najnowszy model wygląda tak: As for the summer table it is going very well. A letni stół jakoś idzie. I told you that I prepared two of them It happens many times that, while working on something, I have a strong feeling that I could do it better - in terms of better ideas. As you can see, my bunting is ready. This time it is in vintage pastel colors with small embroidered flowers. And it's " on the market " already :) Jak widzicie, girlanda gotowa. Tym razem w takich starych pastelach z małymi haftowanymi kwiatkami. I już jest " na rynku " :) And, as an experiment, I made a teapot magnet :) Looks good, but have to wash it to check if the glue I used is strong enough. A w ramach eksperymentu zrobiłam czajniczkowy magnes :) Wyglada dobrze, ale muszę go jeszcze wyprać, żeby upewnić się, czy klej wytrzyma.   No, I didn't switch into total embroidery - just had to show you another great work from etsian artist. This time it is from This Tiny Existence . I wouldn't mind having it in my kitchen :) Talking my kitchen - at this time of a year this is the focal point of my kitchen: Nie, nie zamieniłam się jeszcze w hafciarkę totalną - po prostu musiałam pokazać Wam kolejną świetną rzecz etsowej artystki.   I know I'm quiet but I'm still busy. And, unfortunately, there's not much going on art wise. The big news is that my "Global Village" returned home after two years of travelling. Yes, I missed her :) Wiem, że straszna tu cisza, ale ciągle jestem bardzo zajęta.  I, niestety, niekoniecznie artystycznie. Jedyną większą nowinką, jest powrót mojej "Globalnej Wioski" po dwóch latach podróżowania, do domu. Tak, stęskniłam się za nią :)   And the small news is that I'm working on the new line of trees: A z mniejszych nowin to pracuję teraz nad nową serią drzew:   They will be in my shop but not yet. You are the first to see them. They are a bit bigger than the one in circles (9 x 12 cms) but still considered as small.  I have to tell you that the best part of being on etsy is meeting other artists and looking at their fantastic artwork.   On Sunday my daughter was kind enough to give me some big critique on my shop :) So I've spend the day exchanging pictures (like the one above into the one below) W niedzielę, moja córka była tak uprzejma, żeby skrytykować mój sklepik :) I tak spędziłam dzień na wymianie zdjęć (na przykład tego powyżej na to poniżej)   hiring the model :) zatrudnieniu modelki :) and adding new hens   i dodawaniu nowych kur   So now it's just waiting for the big sales :) Thank you, Dear Daughter!  Czyli teraz pozostaje już tylko czekanie na wielki strumień sprzedaży :) Wielkie dzięki, Kochana Córeczko!

I'm extremly busy. Unfortunately not with my art. But it's still around although quiet. Watching my blooming pansies immediately brings this old piece to mind - do you remember ? Bardzo jestem zajęta. Niestety, nie twórczością. Chociaż ona i tak wisi w powietrzu, chociaż po cichutku. Jak patrzę na moje kwitnące bratki, od razu przypomina mi się to - pamiętacie ? And now I even found some more of those wonderful threads: A teraz znalazłam nawet więcej tych cudownych nici: And another old work of mine: I inną starą pracę: It was a real surprise, because I didn't remember that I was thinking "quiltingly" (you see the layers of fabrics basted together?) so early. Well, this piece is almost 30 years old... Ta mnie totalnie zaskoczyła, ponieważ kompletnie nie pamiętałam, że moje "pikowane" myślenie (widzicie sfastrygowane warstwy?) zaczęło się tak dawno. No cóż, ten kawałek ma prawie 30 lat...   The blooming flowers make me to make more baskets :) Kwit

I know, it's an old bunting but Janet asked for seeing it in natural enviroment - as a kitchen's necklace. So here it is :) And a bigger picture to keep it in perspective: Wiem, to stary bunting, ale Janet chciała go zobaczyć w naturalnym środowisku - jako kuchenny naszyjnik. No to jest :) I większe zdjęcie dla złapania perspektywy: Do you remember my dyed lace ? Now it is in its first use: Pamiętacie moją farbowaną koronkę ? Tu jest jej pierwsze zastosowanie:   Of course in a teapot :) Oczywiście w czajniczku :) The other side of this wall pocket: Druga strona kieszonki:   And now both my bunting and this teapot are in my shop :) Teraz i bunting i czajniczek siedzą grzecznie w moim sklepiku :) Although there is no progress on my secter garden, I can see some in the real one. While taking the above picture I saw "the gate" just like in my embroidery :) Wprawdzie nie ma postępów w moim tajemniczym ogrodzie, ale w tym prawdziwym owszem, są. Jak robiłam powyższ

I'm still working on the idea of framing my teapots. And here is the newest result :) Cały czas szukam sposobów na oprawę czajniczków. I to moje najnowsze osiągnięcie :) I used some brass wire and silk for the flowers and a piece of brass for the background. Of course it is difficult to take a good picture of it because the most interesting effect is with the light - the whole piece is just shining. I made two teapots in this serie: Kwiatki z mosiężnego drutu i jedwabiu, tło z mosiężnej blachy. Oczywiście fatalne do zrobienia zdjęcia, bo najciekawszy efekt daje ze światłem - cały świeci. Zrobiłam dwa z tej serii: I have to tell you that being on etsy maybe isn't a big bussiness (what a pity!), but it is a fun. I've met lots of talented, interesting people. And we know how to play. I like to work on this tree. It is sort of meditative. Especially when the weather cooperates - the outside world is totally white here. And it turned out that after the festival I'm in the selling mood. So I took all my courage and started my very own etsy shop :) I'm just a beginner but I have some plans for development. Keep your fingers crossed! Dobrze mi się pracuje nad tym drzewkiem. Taka medytacyjna robótka. Zwłaszcza gdy pogoda sprzyja - na zewnątrz totalna biel. Ale okazuje się, że po festiwalu złapałam też "sprzedażowy" nastrój. No to wzięłam na odwagę i otworzyłam własny etsy sklepik :) To dopiero początki, ale mam już plany dalszego rozwoju.
