The Textile Cuisine

Yes, the weather here is beautiful. And the mushrooms keep me busy in the kitchen. Tak, pogodę tutaj mamy piękną. A sezon grzybowy nie wypuszcza z kuchni. We eat them fresh and the challange is to find all the ways for different mushroom courses. Jemy je świeże, a wyzwanie polega na wyszukiwaniu nowych pomysłów na dania z grzybami. The picture above is of a nice (and yummy) pickled one, bought at the local market. Na zdjęciu powyżej prześliczny (i przepyszny) grzybek kwaszony, kupiony na rynku.   Do you remember her ? Now she helps me to develop some idea I was dreaming from a long time. Pamiętacie ją ? Teraz pomaga mi rozwinąć pewien pomysł, który chodzi za mną od baaardzo dawna. Yes, I'd like to have some images of my works printed on textiles for everyday use. I was doing this some years ago so now it's time to check new technologies in that matter. I think that the first try isn't bad. At least I know what should be changed to make it better :) Tak, chciałabym mie

Yes, I know, It's been a long time....... Some of you already worried if I'm ok. Thanks for this, I'm fine (and a small flu I'm going through right now doesn't count), but I'm verrrrrry busy. Mostly with the teapots, hens and things like this. Wiem, wiem, trochę mnie nie było...... Niektórzy się nawet martwili, czy wszystko ze mną w porządku. Bardzo za to dziękuję, jestem cała i zdrowa (a to jesienne przeziębienie, które mnie właśnie dopadło, się nie liczy), ale baaaaaaardzo zajęta.  Głównie czajniczkami, kurami i takimi tam. Not a lot time left for art per se. But I miss it. So on Friday I took some time off and went to our beloved Central Museum of Textiles for the opening of new exhibition "Just fabric?", but in fact, I went there to take a breath of fresh air/art. Before I tell you more about my new hens I have some news to share :) First of all I have to thank Makneta for the award she was kind enough to give to me. Her plate is really full and I'm always surprised when she finds time to make her great knitting creations, to blog and to be such a nice, smiled person. Thank you, Makneta! This is one of my first hens. The one with the lacking hanger. She stayed with me and now we work together on computer. Of course it happened by accident that I couldn't find a better place for drying ruccola seeds than my desk but the hen seems to like it very much :) I keep playing with hens and here is my latest model : To jedna z moich pierwszych kur.   On Sunday my daughter was kind enough to give me some big critique on my shop :) So I've spend the day exchanging pictures (like the one above into the one below) W niedzielę, moja córka była tak uprzejma, żeby skrytykować mój sklepik :) I tak spędziłam dzień na wymianie zdjęć (na przykład tego powyżej na to poniżej)   hiring the model :) zatrudnieniu modelki :) and adding new hens   i dodawaniu nowych kur   So now it's just waiting for the big sales :) Thank you, Dear Daughter!  Czyli teraz pozostaje już tylko czekanie na wielki strumień sprzedaży :) Wielkie dzięki, Kochana Córeczko!

While Spring cleaning I found this old work of mine and decided it's perfect time for some blooming :) Podczas wiosennych porządków znalazłam taką swoją starą pracę i pomyślałam, że to świetny czas na coś kwitnącego :) I also composed a small Easter set for my etsy : Skomponowałam też mały zestaw Wielkanocny do mojego etsy : And with the reverse of the egg it looks totally different: A z drugą stroną jajka wygląda zupełnie inaczej:

The new "basket", Nowy "koszyczek", or even two, albo nawet dwa, new eggs, nowe jaja, some hens, kilka kurek, and we can start playing.... i zaczynamy zabawę...

The weather makes me to play with wool even more. So here is another soft and cozy woolen hen. But not that I stopped with eggs :) Pogoda raczej nastraja mnie do pracy z wełną. No to kolejna miękka i przytulna, wełniana kurka. Ale z jajkami oczywiście jeszcze nie skończyłam :) I made two sets of 4 and put them into shop . Zrobiłam dwa zestawy po 4 i wstawiłam do sklepu . And found a clever way how to use them :) I znalazłam sprytny sposób ich użycia :)
