Hello again after a long break! Well, I'm still working but mostly on secret projects and little or nothing to show. But now it's different - I finished this little jewel and have to share it with you immediately. The story of this "Botanical garden" started one year ago. Spring is coming to the kitchen

With the sun going higher and the days getting longer gotta look for the signs of spring in the kitchen. Little birds say that "Spring is coming to the kitchen" is my newest kitchen portrait in stitches. It is 46 x 57 cm big and contains all kinds of spring surprises. Fresh milk and eggs with the promise of new life accompanied by colorful morning chorus. Clean plates are blooming and fresh water brings much needed vital energy. First greens appear everywhere slowly taking the kitchen space of. Even the old wooden floor can't resist as if trying to connect with sweet blooming memories... So good to see you back, dear Spring! Make yourself at home and stay as long as you wish.

Cabbage and roses / Kapusta i róże

Some years ago I brought myself a kitchen towel from Provance. Kilka lat temu przywiozłam sobie ściereczkę z Prowansji. At first I thought it was with roses. But no, it was with different types of cabbages. This gave me an idea to make my poet's dress with roses ... and cabbage :) Najpierw myślałam, że ona jest w róże. Ale okazało się, że to różne odmiany kapusty. Stąd pomysł, żeby suknia mojej poetki była z róż... i kapusty :)
