Filling the landscape / Pejzaż wypełniany

My landscape is going along smoothly. Pejzaż powolutku "się wypełnia". And a green market brings new inspirations every single day. I każdego dnia ryneczek dostarcza nowych inspiracji.

It is not complete yet but I started the quilting process because some elements will be added later. Are you looking for the egg? Jeszcze nie wszystko tu jest, ale zaczęłam już pikować ponieważ niektóre elementy będą dodane na końcu. Szukacie jajka? Do you remember my beets? As I mentioned I was taking part in the challenge and now as I learned that I didn't go through I can show you what I "cooked" for this challenge - the beets' soup :) Pamiętacie moje buraczki? Jak wspominałam zgłosiłam się do konkursu, ale ponieważ już wiem, że nie przeszłam to mogę Wam pokazać co takiego tam "ugotowałam" - botwinkę :)

I love your work I am also Polish living in
California, I like the food colors. Where I live in Californa, Nipomo a lot of small veg.
and mostly strawberrys, lots of greenhouse for flowers and many groves of oranges, lemons,
and my favorite avocadoes.

Lucky you - our climate doesn't pamper us with these. But every season brings something yummy - if I catch it in the fabric I can keep it whole year long :)

Botanical laces / Botaniczne koronki

I told you about my love for laces before ( HERE ). Maybe I wasn't clear, but in fact I see laces everywhere. Wspominałam już wcześniej o mojej miłości do koronek (choćby TU ). Nie wiem jednak, czy macie świadomość, że ja je widzę wszędzie. This artwork from 2008, named "My Way" is the first one where I decided to show it off. W tej tkaninie z 2008, zatytułowanej "Moja droga" zdecydowałam się to ujawnić publicznie.  As you can see,  my laces are a combination of lace patterns and botanical patterns. Jak widzicie, moje koronki to taka kombinacja wzorów koronkowych z roślinnymi. I collect botanical books even longer than lace books. And I use them for inspirations pretty often. Atlasy botaniczne zbieram jeszcze dłużej niż ksiązki o koronkach. I używam jako inspiracji zaskakująco często. For example these trees from my current big project are in fact... Old Garden collection / Ogrodowa kolekcja

Do you remember my mysterious "Old Garden" ? Now I call it finished! Next time when I start something like this, please remind me that it is not the fastest kind of work :) Pamiętacie mój tajemniczy "Stary Ogród" ? Uważam go za skończony! A następnym razem, jak się wezmę za coś takiego, przypomnijcie mi proszę, że to nie jest ekspresowa robótka :) But I have to confess - I love it! And I'm really glad that I made it. Ale przyznaję - uwielbiam go! I bardzo się cieszę, że zrobiłam coś takiego. I'm going to frame it professionally and put on a honorable place on the wall. With the pieces like this it is impossible to sell it - there's no money I would prefer to keep instead of this magical garden. It's not just the matter of the amount of time spent on this. It is more about my thoughts, some ideas and their execution, it is so much "me". Mam zamiar dać go do oprawy, a potem powiesić na honorowym miejscu. Takie rzeczy nie nada
